One way of giving hormones
Pellet therapy, explained
A pellet is a small implant placed under the skin that releases hormone slowly over time. It is one of several ways hormone support can be given here, chosen after you have been measured rather than instead of being measured.
This is not something you book on its own. It sits inside Hormone Optimization (BHRT). The pellets used here are Evexias.
Inside the hormone program
Done in the office
Only after testing
How it fits
Measure first. Then choose how.
Whether hormone support is right for you at all gets settled before anyone settles how to give it.
Measurement comes first
A body scan, breath testing at rest and under exertion, and a comprehensive blood panel including your hormone levels, read by the physician who ordered them. Then the delivery decision
Pellets are one option. Creams and injections are others. Which one you are offered depends on your labs, your symptoms, your history, and how you would rather be treated. Then measurement again
Labs and symptoms are reviewed together at month 3, and at month 6 on the six month program. Dosing follows the numbers.Common questions
About pellets here
What they are, how it gets decided, and what is not being claimed.
No. Pellets are prescribed inside Hormone Optimization (BHRT), after measurement. A practice that inserts pellets without measuring first has no way to tell whether they worked.
From your labs, your symptoms, and your history, talked through with the physician. If a cream or an injection suits you better, that is what you will be offered.
That depends on your labs and how you respond, which is why re-testing is built into the program rather than added on.
We do not heal, cure, or reverse anything. Where the evidence behind a specific benefit is thin, the physician will tell you it is thin.
